In the meantime, I’m including a bit about this show, the largest exhibition of my career. If you live in Utah, please stop by.

  4. The card looks appropriately like snow and also looks three D. You are developing more grays to your roster of luminous colors.

  5. All the best Deborah! These look wonderful, wish I could see them in person!

  6. Deb, this postcard makes me feel as if I am seeing your paintings in person. Well done, Kellin! and Deb this body of work is celestial in feel, detailed as in a close up but taken with a telescope lens. Its deep and layered. Break legs and all the Best!

  7. oh, these have beauty and grace and elegant resolution…i love kadartha the most, but they are all arresting, absorbing…oh to be there! what a feast!

The exhibit in Utah: You have no idea! The effect on the senses upon entering the first room is……..electric………no, that is too harsh a word. The softness…..no, that is too mushy, and these paintings have a strength, but it is subtle. It is like standing in a snowstorm. No, not a blizzard. The kind of storm with large flakes coming gently, persistently……. not quite right……….perhaps a snowstorm in another sphere……I don’t have it right yet. But Deborah Barlow has it. It is correct. It is true to the spirit of the artist. Magnificent!
